People! It’s September! It’s officially fall in my brain, and therefore officially time to re-read one of my favorite things, and to bring back one of my favorite memes:
Also, it means RED ZONE omg guys I can’t even express my excitement about this! Just Scott Hanson dishing up seven hours of live football, “every touchdown of every game,” and hearing peeps talk about trickeration and progressions and icing the kicker, and generally absorbing the sound of football even though I may not watch a minute of it. I. Love. Fall.
Please enjoy a small photo dump.
Perhaps my new favorite outfit, but the shoes gave me blisters and now they’re in time out.
Someone please bring me these noodles from Din Tai Fung in Vegas kthx. (I made a note to try to replicate the sauce, and then I totally forgot about it. So note to self: try to replicate the sauce.)
These people down the street have a sidewalk garden that is always insanely overgrown, and I always complain about it, like, why do you plant all this stuff and then NEVER take care of it, can you please TRIM them so that we’re not attacked by your plants when we walk down the sidewalk, and lo! Someone else must feel the same way, because the other day the plants were braided like this.🤣
When you’re old, you often have to stand in line at the pharmacy, and you might peruse the little magazines, and maybe there’s a super cheesy emoji puzzle book that you end up buying that gives you much more joy than you thought it would.
My usual situation on our weekly Saturdates: my handmade notebook (I repurposed an old romance novel with new paper) that I only use for Saturdate notes, and my RJ Pleats Mama bag with my trusty sunbrella and sunglasses and phone.
So I’m supposed to have a morning snack and drink more water. Why is this so difficult for me? It’ll be 8pm and I’ve had like 17 oz of water. 😑
How about some jokes?
That’s it! Thank you for reading—hit reply and tell me what you’re up to.
